BioSafe Systems hired a new team member to focus on product development, including vendor relations.
Melissa Carserino comes to BioSafe from Chemtura Corp., where she worked as a technical sales service engineer and product and market analyst.
In her new role, Carserino will work to engineer and develop new products for BioSafe’s agriculture, horticulture and meat and poultry segments. She also will assist in the day-to-day management of production and procurement schedules.
Carserino graduated from the University of Connecticut, with a degree in chemical engineering and then obtained an MBA from Rensselaer Poly Tech University. She currently is enrolled in the project manager professional program.
