On Dec. 1, Bayer CropScience completed its acquisition of certain DuPont crop protection and land management assets in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
“We are striving to further expand the leadership position of Environmental Science, and this acquisition is a milestone which underlines our growth ambitions,” said Liam Condon, Bayer CropScience CEO. “Through this acquisition we become a leader in industrial vegetation management (IVM) in North America and globally and will continue to build a best-in-class, innovative platform for future product launches and risk management solutions.”
As part of the acquisition, 16 employees from DuPont will join the Bayer IVM team in the U.S.
