ASV added three new compact track loaders to its relaunched Posi-Track line: the RT-30, RT-60 and RT-110.
The 48-in. wide RT-30 is the smallest ride-on sub-compact track loader available today, with an operating weight of 3,600 lbs., says the company. The RT-30 comes equipped with a 3-cylinder Perkins 32.7 hp diesel engine and was designed to work on fragile surfaces such as golf courses.
The mid-sized RT-60 is powered by a 4-cylinder Perkins 60 hp diesel engine. According to the company, the RT-60, which features 15-in. wide rubber tracks, is ideal for medium to large landscaping jobs and earthmoving and construction projects.
The RT-110 is the largest of the three track loaders and comes equipped with a 4-cylinder Perkins 111 hp diesel engine. It includes 18-in. wide rubber tracks and also comes with optional 20-in. wide rubber tracks for extreme conditions. A specially configured RT-110/F, designed for high-production brusher cutting and forestry work, is also available and comes standard with 20-in. wide rubber tracks.
“Although these are new ASV machines, they’re based on time-proven engineering and design standards that have helped move this industry forward for many years,” said John Wilkinson, ASV national sales manager. “ASV has long been the world innovator of rubber track undercarriage technology. We still hold many patents for our undercarriages for features like proprietary rubber track construction, torsion axle suspension between our undercarriages and machine frames, and our legendary track drive systems that operate with minimal friction and wear.”
