Mark Tipton, the founder and CEO of Aspire Software, who helped guide the company from its infancy to its place today as a leader in the landscape industry, is stepping down from the company.

In a statement, the company said Tipton would depart the company at the end of September and that Eli Zevin, a longtime leader within ServiceTitan, Aspire’s parent company, would step into the role of general manager.

The statement read, “Mark Tipton recently stepped down as Aspire’s CEO, and will be leaving Aspire at the end of September 2025. Eli Zevin, a longtime ServiceTitan leader, is now leading Aspire as its general manager. For nearly a decade, Eli has supported contractors across various trades and business sizes at ServiceTitan.

“Over the coming months, Mark and Eli will be working closely to ensure a smooth transition in leadership. Aspire and the success of its customers are a top priority for ServiceTitan, and the company is committed to the continued innovation of the Aspire platform, while supporting the businesses and contractors who rely on it every day.”

Tipton formed Aspire with the late Kevin Kehoe a little more than 10 years ago and collectively helped turn the company into one of the landscape industry’s largest providers of business management software. In June 2021, Aspire announced that it was being acquired by ServiceTitan, a leading provider of software for commercial and residential trade companies.
