WOBURN, MASS.—Dr. Don Grosman has joined Arborjet as technology advancement manager, and Trent Dicks has been named Atlantic regional technical manager.
Invasive pests such as the emerald ash borer, rugose spiraling whitefly and oak wilt have devastated urban forests across the United States. These new team members are now in place to support the company’s growth and heighten awareness of the latest solutions available.

As technology advancement manager, Grosman will use his broad knowledge of entomology and insect control strategies to help Arborjet develop the next evolution in plant health technology. Previously, Grosman served as the Forest Pest Management Cooperative coordinator for the Texas Forest Service. He holds a Ph.D. in entomology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master’s of science degree in forestry from the University of Maine, Orono.
Grosman has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals; is a frequent presenter at conferences; and is a member of various societies and committees such as the Entomological Society of America, the Texas Forestry Association and the International Society of Arboriculture – Texas. Grosman has also conducted ground-breaking research in protecting the urban and natural forests against pests, and has been recognized with several awards, including the Forest Research Award and the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Services.
As the Atlantic regional technical manager, Dicks will focus his outreach from Maine to North Carolina. Dicks has more than 19 years of experience in landscape and nursery sales and operations. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in agribusiness horticulture from Illinois State University, and an associate’s degree in applied science and horticulture.
