Briggs & Stratton Corp.’s family of brands, including Billy Goat, Ferris, Snapper Pro and Vanguard, introduced new products in power and electrification including:
- Vanguard Commercial Battery: The battery pack with battery management system, vehicle control unit and charger are designed to work seamlessly with each other. The new 48-v lithium-ion Vanguard Commercial Battery system will be first available in 5 kWh form and can be combined for additional capacity to power up to 20 kWh.
- Vanguard 14.0 gross hp 400 and 5.0 gross hp 160 are the second and third offerings in the new single-cylinder, horizontal-shaft family of commercial engines. This family of engines is proven to operate with significantly reduced noise and vibration levels, boasts easy starting and longer maintenance intervals.
Billy Goat’s new products launching this year include the Next Gen Debris Loader Series with a new 10-gauge steel discharge chute and the Post Hole Auger, which offers the only dedicated self-propelled auger in its class.
Ferris and Snapper Pro debuted a number of new product launches including:
- Ferris ISX2200 and ISX3300 mowers ForeFront Suspension utilizes four steel control arms that work together with mower-specific coil-over shocks to ensure each caster wheel remains in a vertical position.
- Ferris FS5250 Voyager spreader-sprayer features a 12-foot breakaway boom, 250 pounds of granular capacity with molded pockets in side tanks to carry an additional 100 pounds of materials, and 80 gallons of liquid capacity. Its pivoting front axle keeps caster wheels in contact with the ground.
- Snapper Pro SW15 mower includes variable hydrostatic drive in forward and reverse for smooth traction for sloping terrain and precise trimming. Commercial-grade 32-inch reinforced steel and fabricated deck provides added stability, professional performance and smooth cutting.
- Snapper Pro S120 mower with foldable rollover protection system allows for access under low-hanging trees and other obstacles. The iCD cutting system has multilayer heavy-gauge steel construction.
