Landscape Development Inc. (LDI) opened a new Sacramento, Calif., division, expanding the company’s service territory into northern California.
Dudley Mallinson has been appointed as division president, tasked with broadening LDI’s service territory and client base, according to the company.
Dudley holds a graduate degree in landscape architecture from Sheffield University, England. He moved to California in 2000 to work at LDI as a project manager and was a key contributor in the growth of the company.
“I am thrilled to rejoin the LDI family and build on the success of my colleagues,” Mallinson said. “The LDI brand stands for quality, innovation, trust and reliability; I am excited to bring these traits to the many unique landscaping opportunities Sacramento and northern California have to offer.”
“This expansion is an exciting time for LDI and, along with recent maintenance acquisitions, marks another great milestone for the company,” said CEO Gary Horton. “I am thankful for the opportunity to include the LDI brand as part of Sacramento’s continued rejuvenation and growth and look forward to seeing our trucks and uniforms all around our state’s capital.”
The division will offer the same core services as provided throughout the California and Nevada company network, including construction, maintenance, landscape architecture, earth services, preconstruction and design/build services.
