FX Luminaire unveiled the DX controller, a low-voltage lighting controller.
It’s operated via a digital facepack and includes astronomical timing and event-based programming capabilities, eliminating the need for plug-in accessories such as timers and photocells, according to the company.
The DX comes with a full-color LCD display, and an optional add-on 9V battery adapter allows for pre-installation programming, saving contractors time at the project site, said FX Luminaire.
“The DX gives customers the functionality they need to create high-quality lighting designs from an easy-to-use interface,” said James Cervantes, product manager.
The controller provides 150- or 300-watt capacities with multitap outputs, and it’s available in powder-coated galvanized steel and stainless steel options. Its capabilities include manual operation, the capacity to create scheduled programs and the ability to configure astronomical timing for locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Additionally, the DX display can be configured in English, Spanish and French.
