Stihl released a new line of trimmers and a new bed redefiner. It also updated its KombiMotors line.

Professional trimmers
The new additions to Stihl’s line of string trimmers include the Stihl FS 91, Stihl FS 91 R, Stihl FS 111, Stihl FS 111 R, Stihl FS 111 RX, Stihl FS 131 and Stihl FS 131 R professional trimmers.
The new line of trimmers have powerful low-emission engines, providing 30 percent longer run times than their predecessors. The newest members of the string trimmer family feature a simplified three-step start procedure enabled by the semi-automatic choke lever.
“This new line of Stihl string trimmers fulfills the demanding landscaper’s trimming needs with its various features, like the IntelliCarb compensating carburetor, which automatically compensates for reduced air flow when air filter begins to clog to maintain desired RPM while trimming,” said Marvin Mathwig, product manager at Stihl.
Rubberized handles provide a comfortable grip of the product, and the multi-function control handle allows easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle, the company said.
Additionally, the straight, steel drive shaft is designed for professional-grade durability and comes with a limited lifetime warranty
KombiMotors
Stihl simplified the starting process and added a one-touch stop system on the Stihl KombiMotors, a power unit that attaches to 14 different tools, by incorporating a semi-automatic choke lever. It also released three new KombiMotors products: the Stihl KM 91 R, the Stihl KM 111 R and the Stihl KM 131 R.
With 710 cc fuel tanks and low-emission engines, this line runs 30 percent longer than respective predecessors. The upgraded KombiMotor also features a vertical pleated air filter, designed for better filtration, extended service intervals and increased product life.
“The new additions to the Stihl KombiMotor line offer professionals a way to use one of three motors to power up to 14 hardworking accessories, saving big on fuel and servicing costs,” said Mathwig. “Best of all, the bigger fuel tank that allows them to work for longer periods. Having one motor like this can make yardwork much more efficient.”

FB 131 bed redefiner
Previously only available as a Stihl KombiSystem attachment, professional landscapers can now use the gasoline-powered FB 131 bed redefiner as a standalone unit.
With its 710 cc fuel tank and low-emission engine, this professional-grade redefiner features a vertical pleated paper air filter and Stihl’s exclusive IntelliCarb technology, which maintains desired RPM if the air filter begins to clog.
“This dedicated bed redefiner has all the bells and whistles to deliver a precise edge at a consistent depth,” said Mathwig. “Its features also help users save time, which on the job, means money.”
