
Ruppert Landscape honored 21 employees at the company’s annual awards banquet at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md.
“These awards highlight exceptional individuals whose superior efforts and skills have benefited our customers and our employees,” said Phil Key, company president. “We are truly proud of each of these individuals and what they’ve accomplished.”
The company’s top two honors are the Clyde Vadner Merit Award and the Achievement Award.
Kevin Hazelgrove, branch manager of the Richmond, Va., branch, won the Clyde Vadner Merit Award. The award recognizes an “individual who has contributed continuous, consistent, long-term hard work, dedication and job skill that has helped to shape the company.” Hazelgrove has been with Ruppert for five years.
Tony Youngblood, field manager for the Georgia landscape construction branch, was given the Achievement award. The award is given to an employee who has made a significant contribution through “outstanding job execution and high-quality results” over the past year. He’s been with the company for more than five years.
Ruppert Landscape also hands out Impact Awards to employees who made positive impacts on their individual branches. This year, the following 19 employees received an Impact Award:
- Josh Araujo—Area manager for the Alexandria, Va., landscape management branch and a two-year Ruppert employee;
- Rob Horton—Field manager for the Baltimore, Md., Landscape Management branch and a two-year Ruppert employee;
- Tito Caceres—Area manager for the Charlotte, N.C., landscape management branch and a three-year Ruppert employee;
- Emil Saweros—Network developer for the corporate branch and a five-year Ruppert employee;
- George Brown—Area manager for the Washington, D.C., landscape management branch and a seven-year Ruppert employee;
- Stacie Kackley—Branch administrator for the Forestville, Md., Landscape Management branch and a six-year Ruppert employee;
- John Holtzinger—Area manager for the Frederick, Md., landscape management branch and a nine-year Ruppert employee;
- Michael Skidgel—Field manager for the Gainesville, Va., landscape management branch and a one-year Ruppert employee;
- Stacy Smith—Project manager for the Georgia Landscape Construction branch and a 17-year Ruppert employee;
- Perry Greto—Enhancement manager for the King of Prussia, Pa., landscape management branch and a seven-year Ruppert employee;
- Chris Bixler—Area manager for the Laytonsville, Md., landscape management branch and a three-year Ruppert employee
- Chris Gramley—Field manager for the Lilburn, Ga., landscape management branch and a three-year Ruppert employee;
- James Watson—Area manager for the Mableton, Ga., landscape management branch and a two-year Ruppert employee;
- Adam Bennett—Production manager for the Maryland landscape construction branch and a 10-month Ruppert employee;
- Jonathon Leonard—Field manager for the North Carolina landscape construction branch and a four-year Ruppert employee;
- Brett Lineberry—Enhancement manager for the Raleigh, N.C., landscape management branch and a two-year Ruppert employee;
- Paula Grady—Area manager for the Richmond, Va., landscape management branch and a one-year Ruppert employee;
- Ariana Rizzo—Business developer for the Toughkenamon, Pa., landscape management branch and a one-year Ruppert employee; and
- Kurt Siemon—Contract administrator for the Virginia Landscape Construction branch and a 14-year Ruppert employee.
