Ford Motor Co. released the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty chassis cab. The cab earned a front gross axle weight rating of 7,500 pounds.
With a gross combined weight rating of 40,000 pounds, the F-Series Super Duty chassis cab can carry the equivalent of half the maximum combined weight rating of a semi-tractor-trailer on most U.S. highways, according to Ford.
Super Duty chassis cab comes with a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel engine, resulting in an increased rating of 330 hp and 750 lb.-ft. of torque.
