Evatech releases remote-controlled robotic mower, plow

|

Evatech, an American technology  company, released the Multiple Application General Autonomous (MAGA), a remote-controlled robotic platform that attaches to a plow or a mower.

A 24-volt battery gives the platform three hours of operating life. The 22-inch mowing deck attachment runs on a hybrid system that charges the battery during operation. A 28-inch, maneuverable snowplow attachment is also available.

A radio-transmitted remote control directs the MAGA. The remote control has two joysticks. One joystick controls the platform, while the other controls the attachment, like raising and lowering the snowplow.

It weighs 80 lbs. and can climb 30-degree slopes.

MAGA retails for $2,000 and comes with a one-year warranty.
