  • Lack of eye protection; and
  • Improper equipment positioning.

  • May be wrong equipment for that plant, placing the employee more at risk.
  • Lack of work gloves.
  • Lack of leg protection
  • Lack of hard hat and colored vest. As you work the site, other thing come into play. You’re looking down a lot as you work and miss the low hanging branch that hit you in the head. Or you could step off a curb into the parking lot or traffic.
  • Maybe a back support belt if he doesn’t have one.
