SnowEx tractor-mounted Drop Pro spreaders are ideal for controlled application of bagged ice melters and bulk rock salt. Featuring precise, gate-free operation, the units are fully electric powered with sealed, direct-drive motors mounted in weather-resistant enclosures.
Model SD-600 has 6-cu. ft. capacity with 36-in. spread width, and model SD-1400 has 14-cu. ft. capacity with 48-in. spread width. Both units include a polyethylene hopper and variable-speed auger feed system, run by a self-diagnosing digital controller.
Varying material application rates help operators minimize waste. To maximize material flow, the spreaders are equipped with vibrators and use SnowEx’s patented inverted “V” hopper design.
