Bobcat released a Tier 4-compliant, 700-frame-size compact track loader. The Bobcat T740 is powered by a diesel engine that is less than 75 horsepower and does not require a diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).
Bobcat T740 compact track loaders use a diesel oxidation catalyst to meet Tier 4 emission standards.
In addition, the Tier 4-compliant Bobcat non-DPF solution features an ultra-low particulate combustion engine with an engine combustion chamber that significantly reduces the amounts of particulate matter created during combustion—making Tier 4 compliance possible without using a DPF, the company said.
The new loader features a large cab door opening to improve visibility to attachments and a one-piece seal around the door to minimize the amount of dirt and dust entering the cab.
Standard controls with power assist are the base control configuration for the T740. There is an optional 30.5-gpm high-flow hydraulic option.
Auxiliary quick couplers are mounted directly to the front plate of the lift arm to provide a solid mounting, and hoses are routed through the loader arms for better protection, the company said. A guard bar extends in the front of the coupler for added protection.
