|

Kubota Tractor Corporation on Thursday entered the residential zero-turn market, with the release of its Kubota Kommander ZG100-Series. Composed of four models, the new series includes two economy models (the ZG124E and ZG127E) and two upgraded models (the ZG123S and ZG127S), available with 48- and 54-inch decks. The eries is designed specifically for homeowners seeking professional-grade mowing results.

“The Kubota Kommander ZG100-Series is Kubota’s debut into the residential zero-turn market, and we pulled out all the stops,” said Christine Chapman, assistant turf products manager for Kubota.

The ZG100-Series also is the first Kubota series designed and manufactured in the United States. It’s designed with operator safety in mind, featuring a low center of gravity for more stability, plus a rollover protective structure, a retractable seatbelt,  a flexible spring-loaded plastic discharge shield and four safety interlocks. Large rear-tire tread is designed for better traction and performance, and LED headlights add increased operator visibility.
