Echo launched its CS-490 chainsaw, which is the lightest weighing saw in its class, according to the company.
The CS-490, available in 16-, 28- and 20-in. bar lengths, is powered by a 50.2cc two-stroke engine. Weighing 10.6 lbs., the new chainsaw features a dual-post chain brake handle, a G-Force Engine Air Pre-cleaner and a magnesium crankcase.
The CS-490 also includes a vibration-reduction system, a side-access chain tensioner and an automatic, adjustable clutch-driven oiler. According to the company, the product’s reduced-effort starter makes for easier hot or cold start-ups.
The Echo CS-490 is available for $349.99.
