Ruppert Landscape expanded its Georgia operations to include a new branch in Mableton, Ga., led by Branch Manager Thor Grenier.
“The Georgia market is a vibrant area with a lot of great customers,” President Phil Key said. “We are fortunate to be in a position to expand with a new branch and provide growth opportunity for our employees.”
The Mableton branch was started as a satellite operation more than a year ago. Grenier was promoted to branch manager with the official branch opening. Serving the Atlanta region, the branch joins 16 existing offices that are located in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina.
Grenier has been with Ruppert for 14 years, serving in multiple positions including field manager, senior supervisor, area manager and enhancement manager. As a branch manager, he will be responsible for the overall development and health of the branch including strategic planning, budgeting, training and higher education, plus all day-to-day operations.
“Thor has been instrumental in helping us maintain and further our presence in the Atlanta market, and we have every confidence he will continue to provide excellent service for our customers while advancing his team,” said Fred Key, VP and regional director of the landscape management division. “We are always happy when our company’s growth continues to provide opportunities for high achievers in our company, like Thor, to excel.”
Grenier graduated from State University of New York at Cobleskill with a technology degree in plant science. He is a Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (GCLP), Georgia Certified Pesticide Applicator and holds a Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Blue Card. In addition, Grenier was honored with a Branch Impact Award in 1997, 2007 and 2010.
