Vermeer introduced its SC40TX stump cutter, which is the first of its kind to include a ride-on platform and provides operators with improved speed, maneuverability and efficiency, says the company.
The stump cutter includes a counter-rotating track undercarriage for enhanced maneuverability, as well as hydraulic ground drive and a cutter wheel. It provides operators the option of standing on the side of the machine or on the platform on the back of the machine.
The SC40TX is 36 in. wide and is powered by a 40 hp Kohler diesel engine.
