Hitachi released its next generation of wheeled excavators — the ZX190W-5 and ZX230W-5 — which have Tier 4 engines, power mode buttons for three work modes, automatic exhaust filter cleaning, enhanced monitors and centralized remote oil/fuel filters, says the company.
The Dash-5 excavators feature power dig and auto lift functions. They also come equipped with a power mode button that allows operators to select between three work modes.
The machines’ cabs include an enhanced LCD monitor, an integrated radio and HVAC. They also have rear-view cameras for enhanced visibility and safety.
Finally, they feature IT4 Isuzu exhaust aftertreatment systems and auto-shutdown.
