The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) scheduled Landscape Industry Certified Technician testing dates for 2015.
Applicant must complete both written and hands-on testing to earn the designation. The hands-on testing demonstrates an applicant’s skills by addressing problems that approximate “real life” scenarios at the test site. While doing the hands-on problems applicants are judged on their work method, adherence to best practices and safety ideals.
Hands-on testing dates are slated for April 11 at Cuyamaca College in San Diego and Oct. 3 at American River College in Sacramento, Calif.
Written tests are scheduled as followed for 2015:
- Feb. 4—Ontario Convention Center, Ontario, Calif.;
- Feb. 27—Gachina Landscape Management, Menlo Park, Calif.;
- April 10—Cuyamaca College, San Diego;
- June 17—Green Valley Landscape & Maintenance, Escondido, Calif.;
- Aug. 14—CLCA headquarters, Sacramento;
- Oct. 2—American River College, Sacramento; and
- Dec. 4—Buckeye Ranch, Petaluma, Calif.
