The Davey Tree Expert Co. promoted Brian Leatherman to district manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C., territory.
“As a seasoned assistant district manager, who has worked in two large territories, Brian returns to Washington, D.C., with a wealth of experience that he can put to use in his new position as district manager,” said Chris Klimas, residential and commercial operations manager for Davey’s Mid-Atlantic region.
Leatherman started with Davey in 1984, working in the U.S. capital as a tree care foreman. In 2004 he earned a promotion to sales arborist, and in 2009 he was promoted to assistant district manager of the Washington, D.C., territory. In 2013, he transferred to Davey’s Northern Virginia territory as assistant district manager.
