Terex introduced its Generation 2 (Gen2) line of skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders, which includes eight models.
According to the company, the new line of loaders feature more than 100 enhancements from the previous models and are available in radial and vertical lift-path patterns.
Designed for rental stores and contractors working in site preparation, construction, landscaping, infrastructure development and demolition applications, the loaders are equipped with Tier 4 Final engines for increased productivity at a lower operating cost.
Some improvements to these models include quick-attach pin profiles, cylinder seal packages and wear bands to reduce side load strain. They also feature stainless-steel clamps, upgraded hydraulic couplers, one million cycle hoses, new standard “W” style crimps on loader and drive hoses and improved O-ring installation processes.
In the months to come, Terex plans to introduce additional loaders to the Gen2 line.
