The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) honored five of its members for their community service efforts. The winners of the second annual Community Stewardship Awards were recognized during the Renewal & Remembrance and Legislative Day on the Hill banquet late last month.
Landscape Management, which is the media sponsor for the awards program, published a supplement featuring stories about each of the winners in its July issue. LM Editor Marisa Palmieri presented the awards, along with PLANET President Jim McCutcheon and Chris Scofield, regional sales manager for The Toro Co. Toro sponsored the 2014 supplement.
