The Davey Tree Expert Co. promoted Craig Holcomb to vice president of operations support services.
Holcomb joined Davey in 2007 as senior business analyst and has since gained experience working in an advisory capacity in operations and support services. He was involved in all phases of the Wolf Tree acquisition in 2008, playing an role in its integration into Davey. His most recent position was vice president of operations for Wolf Tree.
“Craig’s technical and interpersonal skills have allowed him to excel here at Davey,” said Pat Covey, president and COO of U.S. operations. “He had an impressive list of accomplishments prior to starting with Davey seven years ago, and his ability to supplement those experiences with an understanding of Davey operations and culture makes him well suited to be successful in his new position.”
Holcomb also was previously CFO, vice president and controller for the Little Tikes Co. Prior to Little Tikes, he worked in various finance, operations and support leadership roles for General Electric and Nestlé.
He received a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting from the University of Akron and an MBA from Kent State University.
