The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation unveiled its newly constructed Huey Helicopter Plaza, the latest EP Henry HeroScaping project, during the annual New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Remembrance Day ceremony May 7.

The ceremony honored the more than 200,000 New Jersey residents who served during the war. The Huey, a helicopter which served two tours in Vietnam, will be a lasting tribute to the veterans who served during the Vietnam Era.

The helicopter permanently lands at the Huey Plaza in Holmdel, N.J. The plaza was made possible by donors and volunteers from Operation Huey Restoration. EP Henry was among the largest sponsors of the project, donating approximately 1,000 square feet of pavers and 1,300 square feet of walls.

“It’s our mission to honor those who have served, and we’re proud to support a project that recognizes the armed forces from our home state,” said CEO J.C. Henry. “It’ll be exciting to see the final project unveiled.”

Formalized into a program in 2012, EP Henry’s HeroScaping program has contributed more than $325,000 in materials, labor and monetary contributions to military-related projects and organizations.
