The series comes on the heels of OSHA’s proposed rule to effectively cut OSHA’s PEL for silica in half.
Having studied silica for more than 10 years, iQ Power Tools is publishing its series to help contractors and other stakeholders understand the OSHA PEL in easy-to-understand, practical terms. For example, it breaks down that OSHA PEL is expressed in micrograms per cubic meter (μg/m3), a measurement unfamiliar to many stakeholders.
