What I’m Reading Wednesday: A sad story about a “no-show landscaper”

|

This week, “What I’m Reading Wednesday” is more about what I watched earlier today. This story about “no-show landscaper” David Roskiewicz and his company, Rosko Outdoor Services in Grand Rapids, Mich., is one that has no doubt occurred countless times in the landscape industry. You’ve seen these companies come and go. You’ve cleaned up their messes and comforted their former clients. It’s enough to make you angry, isn’t it? Still, I have sympathy for the business owner as a human being, I wish him and his family well and I truly hope he makes good on his promise to “make it right.”

It’s no secret there are many Green Industry companies that struggle with some of the same financial problems as Rosko, whether it’s making payroll, managing cash flow or getting out of debt. For that reason, I’ve unearthed a few articles this week specifically to help owners struggling to pay their bills.
