What I’m Reading Wednesday: Giving thanks

I’m in catch-up and get-ahead mode during this thankfully short Thanksgiving week. I hope you are, too, and I hope you plan to take some time off for the holiday. (Unless, of course, you plow snow and you’d like to be working…)

This week I wanted to share just one link: a year-old blog post that’s sent as an annual Thanksgiving tradition by a marketing firm called Hammock Inc. It’s short and compelling for anyone in business (or in life, really).

“The Most Powerful Word in Marketing”
Hammock Blog
The most powerful word in marketing used to be “free.” That’s no so anymore, thanks to spam filters. Click through to find out why “thanks” wields greater power.

Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving.
