Wichita, Kan.-based Complete Landscaping Systems has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, following multiple lawsuits against the company and reports it had an investor who was going to buy 90 percent of its assets.
“I’ve taken a look at the gross revenues of the company, which are pretty substantial,” attorney David Eron told The Wichita Eagle. “I think we’ve got plenty to work with to turn this thing around.”
Complete Landscaping had revenue of $13 million in 2012, according to the 2013 LM150 report.
“There’s certain things we have to do in order to continue operating the business,” Eron said. The point is to “try to get some time where we don’t have to worry about all the lawsuits.”
Complete Landscaping no longer is looking to sell, Eron said, adding, “Of course if there was some kind of white knight … then sure, we’d look at it.”
