Jeffrey Scott, LM columnist, will host his ninth Annual Summer Growth Summit for the Landscape Industry on Aug. 18–20, 2026, in Detroit. This three-day Summer Growth Summit will bring together landscape business owners and leadership teams from across North America and Canada to learn strategies that drive growth, improve operations and strengthen leadership teams.

At this year’s Summer Growth Summit, you’ll go behind the scenes of two landscape companies—Troy Clogg Landscape Associates and Great Lakes Landscape Design. Meet their leadership teams, tour their facilities and rotate through hands-on learning stations led by the managers who drive their success every day.
What to expect
Facility tours. Attendees will tour both Troy Clogg Landscape Associates and Great Lakes Landscape Design, participating in 10 learning stations led by managers and executives from each company. Topics include selling profitable $500K-plus projects, managing snow operations, supply chain management, irrigation and lighting integration and developing high-performing
sales teams.
Growth engine education. The pre-event program, “Building a Powerful Growth Engine,” focuses on aligning marketing, sales, artificial intelligence implementation and lean production into one cohesive system that drives profitable growth.
Operational excellence. Sessions will cover practical strategies for improving efficiency, implementing lean production, identifying operational bottlenecks and building systems that scale with growth.
Leadership and culture. Scott, his executive coaches, and leaders from both host companies will share insights on accountability, leadership development, building strong company cultures and launching new service lines.
