New Holland Construction is expanding its electric equipment portfolio to meet customer needs and ever-changing jobsite demands with the launch of the E25X Electric Mini Excavator and the C314X Electric Mini Track Loader, offering contractors two new options for job sites requiring zero on-site emissions, minimal noise and reduced overall maintenance.

“At the end of the day, contractors need machines that help them get more done, and electric equipment gives them that greater flexibility,” said Jake Sickels, product marketing manager for New Holland Construction North America. “We designed the E25X and C314X, so customers don’t have to rethink their workflow. These solutions eliminate obstacles related to emissions and noise that contractors often face, enabling them to take on a broader range of projects.”

E25X Electric Mini Excavator

The E25X is a 2.5-ton Electric Mini Excavator powered by a 102-volt lithium-ion battery with a 32.2 kWh gross capacity. Equipped with an onboard 240-volt 1-phase charging system, the machine can recharge from 0-100 percent in approximately nine hours, with a 20-80 percent charge achievable in about five hours. Depending on application and hydraulic demand, runtime ranges from four to eight hours.

Weighing approximately 5,200 pounds in standard ROPS configuration and offering an 8-foot dig depth, the E25X provides the capability contractors need for foundation work, utility installation and outdoor plumbing, and demolition applications. it features electro-hydraulic (EH) controls with eco, standard and power modes, allowing operators to tailor performance to the task at hand. Available in both ROPS and enclosed cab with heat option, the E25X offers excellent visibility for the operator. Adjustable responsiveness settings enhance precision in confined areas, while a two-way blade with float improves grading capability.

The E25X Electric Mini Excavator can be used with a full range of New Holland Construction attachments, including hydraulic hammers, augers, breakers, mechanical thumbs and bucket options to ensure the machine adapts to a variety of contractor needs.

C314X Electric Mini Track Loader

The C314X builds on the proven design of New Holland Construction’s Mini Track Loader, now in a fully electric configuration. Available in both narrow and wide-track configurations, the machine also offers standard rubber or optional non-marking tracks for sensitive environments.

Powered by a 102-volt lithium-ion battery system with a 23.5 kWh gross capacity, the C314X charges in approximately eight hours. The machine also has eco, standard and power motor speed settings to allow operators to balance efficiency and performance based on the attachment in use. The ergonomic control layout allows effortless use throughout the workday.

Enhanced LED lighting, including standard boom-mounted lights, improves visibility in low-light and indoor conditions. Standard single auxiliary hydraulics at 14 gpm, support both single-flow and bidirectional attachments, from hydraulic hammers to landscaping rakes and tillers. This machine features a 14-pin electrical connection for complex attachments, while the radial geometry lift arm design provides durability and straightforward operation. Bucket options include 36- and 42-inch configurations, depending on the machine width selected, and an optional beacon strobe light for added job site safety.

The C314X is gaining popularity in the landscaping and arborist markets, where sustainable tree care practices are already a focus. Contractors can manage site work and tree removal with a reduced environmental footprint compared to traditional diesel engines. In addition, the machine’s zero on-site emissions and low-noise operation make it an ideal solution for greenhouse applications, allowing crews to work indoors without compromising plant health or growing conditions.

The E25X Electric Mini Excavator and C314X Electric Mini Track Loader both come standard with a seven-year telematics subscription through myNewHollandConstruction. This telematics solution delivers new capabilities for sub-compact equipment and unlocks new opportunities for more connected job sites. The digital platform gives contractors, job site managers and operators access to detailed machine utilization metrics, including hours worked, productivity and job site cost figures.

D-Series expansion

In other New Holland Construction news, the firm is expanding its D-Series range by adding five new diesel mini excavator models: the E12D, E19D, E30D, E38D and E60D — all designed in-house. These join the previously released E42D and E50D models from 2025, creating New Holland Construction’s most extensive mini excavator lineup yet. The new diesel machines will be part of a family that includes two electric options, the E15X and E25X, bringing the total number of D-Series models to nine.

“With the expansion of the D-Series Mini Excavators, we’re delivering a truly complete lineup that’s built to serve every type of customer, from rental fleets and landscapers to utility and heavy-use operators,” said Dan Kakareka, product marketing manager for New Holland Construction North America. “What makes this lineup stand out is not just the range of sizes, but the consistency in features, comfort and capability across every model.”

The D-Series expansion spans three machine classes, allowing customers to choose the right size for their operation while maintaining consistent features across the lineup.

The E12D and E19D fit into the compact class, offering lightweight machines ideal for residential construction, landscaping, rental fleets and light utility work. With retractable tracks and a small footprint, these models excel in confined spaces, such as narrow gates and tight yards. The E19D adds additional capability, including the option for a heated cab and the hydraulic power needed to operate higher-demand attachments.

In the mid-size class, the E30D and E38D models are a one-size-fits-all machine, perfect for contractors and operators completing a variety of tasks. The 3.5-metric-ton E38D delivers a balance of power, transportability and versatility that makes it fit for a wide range of applications, from utility installation and urban construction to roadside work and light demolition. These machines remain easy to transport without requiring a CDL license and are quiet enough for work in populated areas. From the E38D upward, operators gain access to an optional six-way blade, enhancing precision and flexibility on grading and finish work.

Rounding out the lineup and the large class option is the E60D. Designed to be a true jobsite workhorse, the E60D is built for heavier-duty applications. It offers increased hydraulic performance, premium cab features and the ability to run demanding attachments such as mulchers. Operators benefit from available heat and air conditioning, an air-suspension seat and expanded lighting and visibility features for long days on challenging jobsites.

Capabilities across all classes

Across the lineup, these machines come standard with first and second auxiliary hydraulics, pattern changers, rear-view cameras, LED work lights and zero tail swing design, allowing operators to work safely and efficiently in tight spaces. Cab options are available on all models except the E12D, ensuring comfort and protection across most of the range.

The D-Series is also designed to maximize attachment versatility. Machines are compatible with CNH-branded buckets, thumbs and couplers as well as a wide range of industry-standard attachments, including hammers, compaction plates, grapples, augers, mowers and mulchers. Select models offer a dedicated mulcher hydraulic line, delivering uninterrupted, high-flow performance without sacrificing machine functionality.

Operator comfort and serviceability were prioritized throughout the design process. Automotive-style cabs feature intuitive layouts, adjustable controls and the ability to save attachment flow and pressure settings for quick changeovers. For maintenance, all D-Series machines feature tiltable cabs or canopies for easy access to hydraulic components, while larger models include reversible cooling fans and an electric fuel pump that simplifies refueling in remote locations.

D-Series Mini Excavators come standard with a seven-year telematics subscription through myNewHollandConstruction, giving owners and fleet managers the ability to monitor machine performance, location and health at no additional cost at the time of purchase.

The firm will launch these new lines at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas (booth #29055).
