“What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay here.” That was the motto SiteOne Landscape Supply brought to life for its annual Women in the Green Industry conference. This year’s event gave attendees the chance to explore women’s empowerment in Las Vegas.

Since its start 27 years ago, it’s grown to a national event with more than 300 attendees and has become a vital resource for women’s professional growth.

“We wanted to bring together owners, leaders and rising professionals to not only sharpen their business and leadership skills but also build a stronger sense of community within the industry,” says Christina Moore, SiteOne’s director of events. “The goal was to balance professional development with personal growth, while celebrating the contributions women are making every day.”

Opening the conference was an expo that let attendees explore new products and technology. A welcoming event followed to help first-time attendees break the ice and form new connections, setting the stage for a dinner and keynote speech from Lindsay Roselle, founder of Work Within.

The second day kicked off with a breakfast panel featuring leaders from SiteOne, Sperber Landscaping Services and Plants Creative Landscapes. After a quick networking break, Tony Ricketts, founder and CEO of Lawnline Marketing, took the stage to shed light on how AI can boost your business. Ricketts shared tips on the best AI tools for everyday tasks, busted some myths and explained how it can save time and make business run smoother.

“We were very intentional in choosing speakers who could bring both expertise and relatability,” Moore says. “We looked for leaders with proven success in their fields, voices that could speak to the unique challenges women face in business and storytellers who could inspire action. This mix ensures our agenda delivers real-world strategies alongside the motivation needed to put them into practice.”

To give back to the local community, attendees also had a chance to roll up their sleeves to fill bags with feminine hygiene kits packed with essentials, primarily sent to middle and high schools through the Communities in Schools organization. This hands-on effort captured how the conference represented more than just learning and growing industry skills but also coming together to create a real movement of support.

“I took away a great sense of empowerment, realizing that our voices together can inspire change, uplift one another and pave the way for a future filled with limitless possibilities,” says attendee April Ely, sales representative at Cresline Plastic Pipe Co.

The annual conference remains a space where women in the green industry can connect, learn and uplift one another, shaping what’s yet to come.

“We hope attendees leave feeling empowered with practical tools they can bring back to their businesses, as well as renewed confidence in their leadership journey. Just as important, we want them to walk away with new connections and mentors — relationships that extend beyond the conference and help them grow personally and professionally,” Moore says.
