Yanmar Compact Equipment launches its Ycare Extended Warranty, a new extended protection program designed to give customers added peace of mind and value for their equipment investment, according to the company.
Ycare Extended Warranty aims to simplify ownership and service by offering a comprehensive, flexible equipment protection solution. It is designed to complement Yanmar’s standard base warranty, offering up to three additional years or 3,000 machine hours of coverage for all Yanmar compact equipment — including both machines and attachments. When combined with the base warranty on Yanmar mini excavators, for example, Ycare can provide up to seven years or 7,000 hours of total protection.
“With Ycare, we’re delivering on our commitment to provide ongoing support, long after the sale,” said Buck Storlie, director of aftermarket, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. “This program gives our customers confidence in their equipment and strengthens relationships with our dealers by making service and support more convenient than ever.”
Customers can choose from three plan levels — Comprehensive, Powertrain and Powertrain Plus Hydraulics — to match their specific needs. Ycare also offers the convenience of one-stop maintenance, regardless of whether the work is under the standard warranty or the extended plan. All repairs are completed by authorized Yanmar dealers to ensure consistent support.
Ycare coverage is fully transferable if the equipment is sold, increasing resale value and buyer confidence. To make things easier, Ycare plans are available for purchase at any point during the machine’s base warranty period.
In addition to Ycare, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America also introduced MAX-Guard, providing similar extended warranty options for the ASV brand.
Qualifying machine owners can register for Ycare at their local dealer. All warranty claims are handled through the local dealership in a convenient process with Yanmar.
