Delta Systems is bringing a new member to its sealed PTO switch family for the first time since the original product’s launch in 2017.
The new switch includes two separate electrical poles: One is normally open, and the other is normally closed. This is a reduced version compared to the original, which had a total of six poles.
The new switch will be available at a reduced cost and is expected to lower expenses for the mating connector and wire harness as well. Similar to the original member of the sealed PTO switch series, the new switch is IP67-rated.
“OEMs know they can count on us for durable and cost-effective solutions,” says Isaac Kirbawy, director of product management. “This switch lowers the cost differential to upgrade to our sealed PTO switch family. It’s about offering our customers more choices and flexibility.”
Parts are available for field testing now, and Delta Systems expects to be production-ready by the middle of November. They will showcase the new switch at the upcoming Equip Exposition in Louisville, Ky. from Oct. 22-24 in booth #9078.
