Reading Truck, a truck body equipment manufacturer and distributor, expanded its crane body lineup with the introduction of two new models. The RM-25 crane body and the RM-35 crane body rounds out its portfolio for the RM series product line by providing customers with a complete range of lifting capabilities and crane body options from mid-weight to heavy duty.

“We aim to offer our customers a design that’s best in class, delivering superior lifting performance, safety and durability,” said Nate Goodnow, president and COO of Reading Truck Body Manufacturing. “They’re a great choice for customers looking for a versatile, high-performance solution that can be upfitted to fit their specific needs.”

According to the company, the new crane bodies reflect decades of engineering and manufacturing along with Reading’s commitment to providing an accessible product that meets the diverse needs of customers, whether it’s owner-operators or fleet management companies.

The RM-25 and RM-35 crane bodies are designed for class four and five chassis and are available in 9-foot and 9-foot or 11-foot lengths. For strength, stability and performance under rigorous conditions, the RM-25 is built with a 6-inch heavy-duty steel understructure, and the RM-35 is built with a heavy-duty torsion box understructure. They can be upfitted with most leading cranes and come equipped with manual (RM-25) or electric outriggers. Both models offer features including work-bench bumper, spray lined bed and integrated headache rack to further enhance safety and functionality.

The crane bodies are backed by Reading Truck’s five-year warranty and are available for a quote today.
