SJ: Seth Jones
SH: Scott Hollister

SJ: Hey everybody. It’s Seth Jones, editorial director for Landscape Management magazine.

SH: I’m Scott Hollister, the editor in chief of Landscape Management magazine. Day one, Equip Expo 2024 is in the books. We are in Freedom Hall right now. They’re going to have a little reception and a concert here soon. But before the band kicks off, we thought we’d recap a little bit of what we saw today. Seth, you were all over the place, so was I. What was the number one thing you’ll take away?

SJ: You know, there’s a lot of cool product lunches I saw. We got a couple of press tours exclusive to us that were great. Mulch Mate had a big reveal. They had the shroud, they pulled off of a New Machine. I did a quick video with Nick so you can see what that’s about. Kawasaki, Kress, Kubota, Husqvarna gave me a bunch of their own battery powered stuff and whatnot. So it was, there was, it’d be hard to nail down one thing, but I got a couple videos that I think you were gonna get a kick out of.

SH: Yeah, I ended up seeing a bunch of the autonomous mowers from different companies, met with Sunseeker, met with Segway, Navimow, which was was very interesting. It is the same segues, and it’s pretty funny. The Product Manager referenced Paul Mark, Paul Blart, mall cop in terms of the segue. Same company, but they were a technology company that was super cool. But I had a great day. Got to see my old friend, George Kinkead with Turfco. Got to hang out with them a little bit. They had a new spreader they were showing off. So yeah, it was great day. I thought we got a lot of good stuff.

SJ: Ton of content, asking questions for future issues and just getting a ton of stuff. So we’ll post a lot of it online. We’ll have videos coming out very soon. So stay tuned to our social media feed. We’re gonna go check out the crashes and get a cold beer. We’ll see you guys.

SH: Alrighty. Take care.
