Landscape Workshop expands in Southeast

Addition of Meliora Landscape Group of Ponchatoula, La., a commercial landscape maintenance and landscaping company, builds on Landscape Workshop's presence in the state.

Landscape Workshop, a full-service ground management company and No. 35 on the 2023 LM150 list of the top landscape operations in the country, acquired Meliora Landscape Group, which expands its footprint in Southern Louisiana.

Brandon and Randy Luteman and Ben Dutruch founded the companies that became Meliora Landscape Group in 2005. With more than 18 years in operation, the company is now a commercial landscape maintenance and installation firm serving southern Louisiana, including Covington, Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette.

“Our reputation speaks for itself, as we have consistently delivered outstanding results to our clients. We believe in investing in our employees and providing them with opportunities to grow. That is why we chose Landscape Workshop – they not only value our team but also offer outstanding career prospects,” said Brandon Luteman.

Dutruch and Brandon Luteman will join Landscape Workshop as general managers.

“This strategic move allows us to expand our services and cater to a broader clientele in the Southern Louisiana area,” said J.T. Price, CEO of Landscape Workshop.

Landscape Workshop is backed by Carousel Capital and McKinney Capital.

2023 moves

Landscape Workshop’s growth over the past few years continues with additions of Martin Landscape in Georgia, Louisiana Landscape Specialty and Solid Ground Landscape Services of Atlanta, Ga.
