ASA Electronics intros autocalibrating 360-degree camera system

|

ASA Electronics debuted its new Voyager autocalibrating, 360-degree camera system at the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.

The software combines images from four cameras to create a seamless panoramic view around the entire vehicle. The system was designed to simplify the installation process, with current software support for walk-in vans, buses, semitrailers and heavy-duty vehicles.

“Our engineering team took the feedback we were getting from customers and locked in on the vehicle applications we were seeing most often to program the system,” said Joe Camacho, vice president of commercial vehicle sales. “This streamlines the process and makes the technology accessible to more of our customers by cutting down on installation time.”

Left, right and rear trigger views give focused views of traditional blind spots when maneuvering, allowing drivers to take advantage of the system from all angles.

The system is compatible with all wired Voyager monitors and CEC cables.
